Good Afternoon, everyone! What is this? Day 984 of social distancing and quarantines? No, but seriously. It’s getting hard out here. Even though Donald Trump would like to get things, quote on quote, “back to normal” in two weeks, (which is totally delusional), we’re still in the same predicament as yesterday.
These times can be particularly harder for our family and friends who suffer from anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses or stresses. Sitting in the house everyday can be mentally taxing. For those of you like me, you might even find yourself having time to point out all of your imperfections.
But thank God for Black Women. These women that I’ve listed below are here to help with just that: Psychotherapy, Body Image Coaching & Yoga to put our minds somewhat at ease during these trying times. Check them out below!

“My name is Danni (Poundcake) and I’m the creator of AmaPoundcake. I am an activist, coach, facilitator, content creator, pop culture enthusiast, black feminist, and entertainer. I am very passionate about body image and body positivity.”
“I believe everyBODY deserves to have a positive relationship with their bodies. Being healthy or non-healthy shouldn’t be a determining factor for positive body image. I was a yo-yo dieter as a teen up until my early twenties. I believe you are not a failure and the truth is DIETS DON’T WORK. We are all told that we have to have body goals. Well, body goals don’t have to be a before and after photo. It can simply be a positive relationship with your body. I want to help you achieve getting out and doing the things that make you happy. You deserve to be #Livingnpublic. I want to help you stop postponing your freedom because of the relationship you have with your body.” For inquirieVisit her Website here
