Mélange Brown x Ibrahim Lamin

July 12, 2019

When I look at these pictures, all I see is art. I see you black men.

Words from Ibrahim….

“What inspired me about this shoot was the utilization of space. I have this huge obsession with being in huge spaces that seem like they can expand to infinity. It gives the feeling that as the space continues to expand the possibilities do too. But then you gotta ask what’s filling that space? It’s those who put themselves in it. Like Bruce with his quote about water. “To be formless and shapeless.”  You become the space that you are in. Also tones are something cool I like to play with it. The different shades of brown honestly came by coincidence but they worked great in my favor.”
