With the death of Kobe Bryant sending shockwaves throughout the world and Black History Month upon us, the Opinionated Family decided to dedicate a short segment to their favorite Black heroes called “Flowers”. If you’ve ever heard the quote “Give them their flowers while they can still smell them.” this is exactly what they’re referencing. Giving appreciation to the people who you love while they are still on this plane. From Tyler Perry to Solange, these creatives’ appreciation and reasoning behind why they loved these black heroes were thoughtful and heartfelt. Check  it out below.

If you haven’t heard of Opinionated….here’s a quick run down of what it is from it’s Founder Jon Boyd! Some of you may remember the philanthropist and rapper we covered a couple of months ago.

“Opinionated is a platform with the intent for individuals in our community to share their opinions in a safe place. We will discuss a wide range of topics and challenge our viewers to critically think. We always will be a home for compelling content built from creators. ”

If you’re looking for amazing content I can promise that this is the right place for you!
